As the final hour draws closer, there are five hours left until the God Killer Arrow pierces Athena’s heart. The Battle to save Athena continues as Seiya and the other knights face the Golden Saints, in hopes of reaching the Pope, the only one who can remove the arrow. Toei Animation released a new trailer with a 2024 release window.
The trailer premiered during the opening ceremony of the Tamashii Nation 2023 event on Thursday, which was accompanied by a new visual that confirmed it will be a global release and will be titled Saint Seiya: Knights of The Zodiac- Battle For Sanctuary Part Two.
It was first confirmed last year that Crunchyroll would stream Part Two on its streaming service. In 2019, it made its debut on Netflix for Season One, while it would eventually move to Crunchyroll in Summer 2022.
It was adapted from Masami Kurumada’s Saint Seiya manga, which ran from 1985 to 1990 and was collected into 28 tankobon volumes. It would receive a TV anime adaptation that aired from 1986 to 1989 and consisted of 114 episodes. It would also go on to have six animated films, seven anime spin-offs, light novel adaptions, and a live-action film adaption, which is available now on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Time is running out! Only five hours remain before the god-killer arrow lodged in Athena’s chest will kill the goddess. The powerful Grand Master is the only one who can save her life, but to even reach the Grand Master’s chambers, Seiya and his fellow Bronze Knights must ascend Sanctuary and pass through all Twelve Houses, each temple guarded by a Gold Knight. Not everyone will complete the journey and reach the summit of Sanctuary where a shocking surprise awaits.
