TMNT The Last Ronin II: Re-Evolution To Launch In December
IDW announced that the original creative team behind the first TMNT: The Last Ronin book will be returning for TMNT The Last Ronin II: RE-Evolution. In this new story, the next generation of Ninja Turtles- Yi, Uno, Odin, and Moja will be led by Casey Marie Jones, the formidable and strategic daughter of Casey Jones and April O’Neil will face the ultimate enemy. This new title will launch in December, and be sure to check out Speedokaggen for their upcoming sequel to their TMNT The Last Ronin Fan Animation.
DC Announces Two Animated Films Slated For 2024
While the company’s live-action film universe flounders at the Box Office, DC aims to capitalize with its animated films, announcing two new projects Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths, and another attempt at Watchmen, both films are slated to debut in 2024. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths is an adaptation of the iconic 1980s Comic Book Story created by the legendary comic creative team of Marv Wolfman (Writer), George Pérez, and Watchmen is the animated adaptation of the 1980s Comic Book series by Alan Moore (Writer) and Dave Gibbons (Artist). One animated film that wasn’t present in this presentation was The Milestone Media animated film that was teased during DCFandome in 2021.
Surge and Kit Take The Stage In IDW’s Sonic The Hedgehog
Business is about to pick up as IDW Publishing lays out future stories for their Sonic The Hedgehog Comic Book Series. Previewing the next story arc titled Misadventures, where they tease the return of two fan-favorite characters, Surge & Kit! The story begins in October 2023. Toonami Shares New Trailers for Uzumaki, FLCL Grunge, and more.
During Adult Swim’s Adult Swim on the Green event, Toonami shared several new anime projects coming up that included trailers to accompany the big news. The most-anticipated series was Junji-Ito’s Uzumaki, which has been scheduled to premiere later this year. Here is a list of anime projects to look forward to.

GAMERA -REBIRTH- Premiere Date Confirmed
The final part of our Comic-Con coverage is focusing on the GAMERA -Rebirth- panel, this new series has a new release date and a brand-new trailer that features the opening theme for the anime, Natsuake, performed by Japanese band WANIMA.
