There is something under your bed. Wait, now it’s lurking slowly out of the darkness. What could it be? Why, it’s the newest trailer for The Boogeyman, straight from the horrific mind of Stephen King.
It’s one of the most frightening things from our childhood, The Boogeyman, and Stephen King is back to explore and terrify moviegoers with an adaption of his Short Story that was first published in Cavalier Magazine in March 1973, and later collected in King’s 1978 Collection titled Nightshift.
Rob Savage (Host) will be directing the film, with a screenplay provided by Scott Beck, Bryan Woods, and Mark Heyman. Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Dan Levine will be producing the film for 21 Laps Entertainment, with 20th Century Studios set to distribute the film. The film stars Vivien Lyra Blair (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Sophie Thatcher (The Book Of Boba Fett). The Boogeyman is set to debut on June 2nd, 2023.

High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.
