Those Radical Dudes Are Back! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are making their return to the big screen once again in the upcoming film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
Summer can’t get here fast enough. The new teaser trailer was released on Monday Morning, and it looks glorious! While it doesn’t give much away about the plot, it does show the art and animation influence from Sony Animation and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Our favorite teenage mutant ninjas are voiced by a younger cast while being accompanied by a star-studded cast of villains. Here is a fun fact about one of the stars involved in this film, John Cena also portrayed another TMNT Villain in the Nickelodeon Animated Series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as Baron Draxum. The new film is set to premiere on August 4th, 2023 in theaters. The film is directed by Jeff Rowe, one of the directors of Netflix’s The Mitchells vs. the Machines, and Kyle Spears, a storyboard artist on The Mitchells vs. the Machines.

After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
