I do apologize for the lack of coverage for this year’s Anime New York Event, that is why I’m going to be doing a special News Roundup Edition for this event. Just like the NYCC Coverage, I’ll be sharing only the summaries of the events with a link to the proper news stories.

Shin Ultraman to make its US Debut In January 2023

We’re starting the coverage with one of the biggest films in 2022, Shin Ultraman. The Ultraman Connection Panel announced that Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi’s Shin Ultraman will finally make its appearance in US Theaters on January 11th and 12th 2023, thanks to a new partnership with Fathom Events.

The Bounty Has Been Tripled In The Newest Trailer for TRIGUN STAMPEDE!

Next up, what was described by fans as a Spectacular Panel. TRIGUN STAMPEDE took the stage, previewing the first episode of the upcoming series. For fans in Japan, the first three episodes will be screened at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya on December 3rd. There will also be a cast stage event at the premiere. Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Scherzo of the Deep Night, Blue Thermal, Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War- The First Kiss is Coming to US Theaters in 2023.

With the premiere of the first Sword Art Online Progressive film coming up on Crunchyroll, the second film has been confirmed to be premiering next year in the US and Canadian Theaters in February 2023. Speaking of premieres, Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War- The First Kiss Never Ends will also be coming to the US and Canadian Theaters in February. And finally, premiering this December will be Eleven Arts Blue Thermal, based on the manga by Kana Ozawa.
