Power Rangers Actor and Mixed Martial Artist Jason David Frank Has Passed Away at Age 49

It is certainly a bad week for the 90s Kids. Last week, we lost Kevin Conroy, and now we have lost another iconic 90s icon, Jason David Frank.

Jason David Frank, better known to his fans as Tommy Oliver from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as The Green Ranger and White Ranger, has passed away at the age of 49.

Frank, would go on to reprise his role as Tommy in several Power Ranger adaptions such as ‘Wild Force,’ ‘Turbo,’ ‘Zeo,’ ‘Dino Thunder,’ ‘Megaforce,’ ‘Ninja Steel,’ ‘Hyper Force,’ and more. He would also take on the role of Ray Garrison / Bloodshot in the Web series, Ninjak Vs. The Valiant Universe.

Jason David Frank’s death is unknown at this time. Legions of Power Ranger Fans, Comic Creators, Actors, and fans shared their heartbreak and tributes online to the Actor.

Frank was not only an actor but also a mixed martial artist with vast knowledge of many styles of Martial Arts such as ShōtōkanWadō-ryūTaekwondoJudoBrazilian Jiu-JitsuMuay ThaiWing ChunJeet Kune Do, and Aikido.

In 2017, Jason was the target of an assassination attempt at Phoenix Comic-Con. He spoke out about the incident mentioning that he did not know the person, but he would pray for him.

He’s survived by his four kids. Jason David Frank will be missed.
