November 8th better hurry up because the newest gameplay trailer for SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers is getting fans all fired up!

The new gameplay trailer has revealed a skill tree. With several nodes, you can invest experience points, like in RPG games, players can unlock skills that can be strategically used in encounters.

Take, for example, if you feel like getting up close and personal in combat, combos can chip away at enemies and be combined with new attacks such as Phantom Rush, which unleashes multiple near-instantaneous attacks. Or Wild Rush, which takes advantage of Sonic’s speed and turns him into a battlefield pinball that can hit enemies hard while avoiding incoming fire.

Cyloop involves Sonic running around the ground to dig up Power Rings and get back into battle. Cyloop can also be used to run rings around your opponent, which can disable their shields, and set them up for the knockout blow.

The point of these new skills is that with Sonic getting more powerful, so do his opponents. They will also level up alongside you, which means that you will need to learn and overcome to take out the titanic guardians, which have unique combat mechanics.

Sonic Frontiers will be available on November 8th for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows. Pre-Order yours today.
