It’s Time to Rev Up! Chainsaw Man to Get A New Trailer on August 5th!

There was big news coming from the Official Chainsaw Man Twitter Account and Website today, releasing new information about the upcoming anime series, and a new Key Visual.

The new trailer, along with the first cast list, will be released during a MAPPA Stage Event on August 5th at 8 pm JST and will be streamed on MAPPA’s YouTube channel, ABEMA TV, and Nicovideo.

There has been an update on the staff list as well, here is the updated staff list:

It will premiere in Japan, and on Crunchyroll in 2022. The Simulcast will be available in territories worldwide (excluding Asia), with additional dubs for the series to include English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, and ended its “first part,” the “Kōan” (Public Safety) arc, in December 2020. The manga made its return with its second part titled “Gakkō-hen” (School Arc) on Shonen Jump+. The Final Volume for Part One is available on Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus app (and it is part of the ‘First Read Free’ Campaign!)

“Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.”
