DC Comics Newest Event ‘Dark Crisis’ gets an Obvious Title

As much as I love DC Comics, this announcement was an obvious move for the Publisher. After “killing” the Justice League in May. The new event is named Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, and while it was confirmed on Thursday’s Dark Crisis Panel, this will serve as a direct sequel of the original Crisis on Infinite Earths Story written by Marv Wolfman and artist George Perez.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is a 12-issue limited series written by Marv Wolfman and penciled by George Perez, it ran from April 1985 to March 1986 and it was described as a Crossover event, plot elements were featured in tie-in issues of other publications. Since its publication, the series has been recollected and reprinted in various formats and editions. After the Event’s debut decades later, the publisher has used this to alter things, reintroduce what was rewritten, and finally, expand it into an omniverse as it was done after Dark Nights: Death Metal.

As reported by Newsarama, this will run as a seven-issue monthly limited series concluding in December, with DC titles including The Flash, Black Adam, Aquamen, and more tying directly into the event. You can read more about this event over on Newsarama.

Batgirl takes the stage in the newest character trailer for GOTHAM KNIGHTS

Three weeks ago, it was Robin getting a Character Trailer, and now, it’s Batgirl’s turn. The trailer focuses on Batgirl, her character, and her desire to protect Gotham City regardless of what name that protection happens to go by.

The development team also shared how the game will feel different depending on which character the player chooses, from different dialogue to combat to the very tone of the game. Also, The Joker will not make an appearance in this game.
