In 2018, they came, saw, and conquered the winter anime season with their surrealism and frequent pop culture parodies, and now, Popuko and Pipimi are ready to cause more hell in Pop Team Epic Season Two.
Based on the manga by Bkub Okawa, Pop Team Epic is directed and written by Jun Aoki (Gal & Dino) at studios Kamikaze Doga and Space Neko Company and stars an ever-changing myriad of voice actors as its chaotic protagonists. Today, there are two new visuals to highlight not only what to expect, but reflecting on past shenanigans! Mark your calendars, the girls are coming back in October!
The visuals’ tagline reads, “This is a story of hopes and dreams (just shit).”
