Look out Senpai! In March, we got a first look at the Rascal’s Family, and now we’re getting a new trailer for the upcoming season of TAKE’s Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out.

In the newest promotional video, there is a preview of what fans can expect coming up in the new season, video games, bowling, meeting Uzaki-Chan’s family, and of course, hilarious hi-jinks! Also included in the newest video were samples of the official opening theme for the series, entitled “Ichigo-ichie Celebration” (“Once-in-a-Lifetime Celebration”), which is performed by virtual artist Kano and Naomi Ohzora (the voice of Uzaki-chan).
The new season is called Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! ω (Pronounced “W” or Double), joining the cast will be Hideo Ishikawa as Fujio, Uzaki’s Father, and making her debut as Yanagi, Uzaki’s younger sister is Seina Katō. Also confirmed, was Kazuya Miura returning to direct the second season at studio ENGI, which will also be handling the animation production, the staff will also be returning for the second season. The second season is set to debut in Japan this fall.

The first season of Uzaki Chan wants to Hang Out is streaming on both Funimation and Crunchyroll, both Sub and Dubbed. It made its debut in Summer 2020. As for the Manga, it was created by Mangaka TAKE, it made its debut on Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp portal in 2017. There are currently eight Tankōbon Volumes with the eighth volume debuted in Japan on March 9th. In the U.S. there are currently seven volumes from Seven Seas Entertainment, the eighth volume debuting on December 13th, 2022.
