It has been one of the biggest questions on the minds of fans of the Dark Fantasy series, Berserk. “Will the series continue?” In a brand new statement from the Young Animal Publisher, Hakusensha, the answer was yes.

In the new statement, the Berserk Series would be returning in Young Animal’s 13th issue on June 24th. They will first publish six chapters until the end of “Fantasia Arc/Elf Island Chapter.” And after that, they will start a new arc.

The statement also expresses gratitude to all of the fans who expressed their love for Berserk and Kentarou Miura, who tragically passed away last year. Kouji Mori (Holyland), a longtime consultant for the series and close friend of Miura, will be working as supervisor with Studio Gaga (Miura’s team of assistants) to continue his vision for the series as closely they can, based on their past conversations with him and various concept notes and designs he left behind.

The Statement is available to read on Hakusensha’s website and Twitter.
