The Shield Heroes, Naofumi, and Maple Celebrated “The Hardest Shield Day” with a new Collaboration

Even though yesterday was the “Ides of March”, our two favorite shield-wielding heroes were celebrating a different kind of day. “Saiko no Tate no Hi” or The Hardest Shield Day according to Crunchyroll’s Mikikazu Komatsu, The date was chosen because of the combination of 3 and 15, which reads 3 (sa), 1 (i), 5 (ko) in Japanese.

The Rising of the Shield Hero’s Naofumi and Maple from BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense have teamed up for a special collaboration where both heroes are wielding their iconic shields in a four-size wallpaper for PC and smartphone using this visual are now available for free on the official website for The Shield Hero. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season Two is set to premiere on Crunchyroll on April 6th, and BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense’s First Season is available now on Crunchyroll, the Second Season will premiere in 2022.
