Nintendo Delays Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp due to Russia-Ukraine War

News today coming from the Official Nintendo of America Twitter Feed, The Video Game Company has announced that it will be delaying Advance Wars 1+2 due to ‘Recent World Events’.

In light of recent world events, we have made the decision to delay Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was originally scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch on April 8th. Please stay tuned for updates on a new release date.

The recent event the Game Company is referring to is the Russia-Ukraine War. Game Developers and Publishers have been calling for support of Ukraine and condemning Russia’s actions, and companies are pulling out of Russia as well, and finally, it includes Hollywood joining in.

The video game was originally scheduled to be released on April 8th, but now has been pushed back to an unspecified date, there isn’t any indication yet that other Game Companies will follow suit. If you want to help Ukraine, here is a list of charities that are accepting donations.
