Knuckles makes his presence known in the First Sonic Movie 2 Trailer

The Game Awards are in full swing and wasting no time was Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey (via Video Message, dialing into the madness of Dr. Robotnik) were there to present the very first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Making his presence was everyone’s favorite brawler, Knuckles the Echidna (voiced by Idris Elba), the big question lately from fans was “Will Knuckles Sound Sexy?“… Well, I’ll let you be the judge!

Jeff Fowler will be directing once again, based on a script by Pat Casey & Josh Miller, and John Whittington, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 opens in U.S. cinemas on April 8th, 2022. The first film had the biggest opening weekend for a Video Game Movie in the United States and Canada, It grossed $319.7 million worldwide, becoming the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2020 and the highest-grossing video game film adaptation of all time in North America.
