The Steam Deck will not have any Exclusive Games, Valve Confirms

Uh oh, this could be a deal-breaker for some Gamers, in a news article from USA Today’s For The Win, that Valve has confirmed there will not be any exclusive video games for its new handheld console Steam Deck. According to its new FAQ Page, it addressed the anticipated question of whether or not there would be any Exclusive Video Games for the new system, being upfront and honest saying:

“No, that doesn’t make much sense to us, It’s a PC and it should just play games like a PC.”

This answer wasn’t surprising, Valve has had a history of being unique and developed and owning Steam OS for years, the studio has a pretty storied history of ensuring its games run on Windows, Mac OS X, and even certain Linux distributions.
