The Supernatural Romance Manga, Call of The Night picks up an Anime Adaption

Big news for fans of Kotoyama’s Call of the Night Manga series, according to the Official Website it will be premiering on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block next July. Also, their official Twitter Page unveiled not only a Promotional Video but also the cast and crew list. LIDENFILMS, well known for producing one of the biggest anime hits this year the Yanki Science Fiction Tokyo Revengers will be producing the animation.

The PV not only unveils the cast and crew but also previews the opening theme by Creepy Nuts titled “Yofukashi no Uta” (Call of the Night). Here is the cast so far, Gen Sato as Kо̄ Yamori and Sora Amamiya as Nazuna Nanakusa. As for the crew, Tomoyuki Itamura is directing the anime, Haruka Sagawa is the Character Designer, Michiko Yokote is writing the script. Finally, Tetsuya Miyanishi is serving as the chief animator.

Call of the Night made its debut in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday Magazine in August 2019, a year later it would be licensed by Viz Media for English Audiences. There are currently eight volumes, the ninth volume will be available on November 18th in Japan. Meanwhile, for North American Audiences, the fifth volume will be available on December 14th.

One sleepless night, Ko slips out to walk the streets. Life after dark is a revelation! When flirtatious Nazuna invites Ko to spend the night at her place in an abandoned building, he’s stoked! But then he awakens to kisses on his neck with a little too much bite to them… Is it just the delicious taste of his blood that makes her meet him night after night for late-night adventures, conversation and…naps?
