“All is Fair in Love and War!” That may be the case for this new announcement, the thrilling Romantic Comedy Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is getting a third season, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War-Ultra Romantic-. The Bombshell was dropped on the Official Twitter Account along with a 10 Minute Promotional Video and a new Visual to tease the New Season Announcement. Season Three will make its debut in April 2022.
To make things even more romantic, the Official Website got a new makeover. According to Crunchyroll’s Kara Dennison, The episode is an adaptation of chapter 110 of the manga, “Yu Ishigami Wants to Chat.” Originally penned to commemorate the announcement of the KAGUYA-SAMA anime adaptation, it is all about anime adaptations… and who on the student council is the biggest, baddest otaku.
Adapted from the manga of the same name by Aka Akasaka, this Japanese Romantic Comedy Manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Seinen Manga Magazine, Weekly Young Jump in March 2016, a year later North American Publisher Viz Media would license it for English Audiences. There are currently 23 Tankōbon volumes, English audiences can expect the 21st volume to go on sale on December 7th, 2021.
