Yuiko Ohara returns to Perform OP Theme for Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

On the first of September, we got confirmation that the Second Cour of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation would be premiering on October 3rd for the following Channels in Japan: KBS Kyoto, BS11, Tokyo MX. Now it has been confirmed that singer Yuiko Ōhara will be returning to perform the Second Cour’s new OP theme titled Kenshō no Uta – ‘Succession Song’.

Also premiering on Tokyo MX will be airing a special featuring the cast members Konomi KoharaYumi Uchiyama and Tomokazu Sugita where they will outline the second part of the series as well as feature comments from the rest of the cast and crew along with featuring another preview. The series is based on the successful Light Novel Series by Rifujin na Magonote, there are currently Twenty-Six Light Novels under the Media Factory’s MF Book Imprint, it is currently on its twenty-fourth volume in Japan with the twenty-fifth volume currently scheduled to be released on September 25th, 2021. It has also been released in the U.S. thanks to Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment, with Volume 13, and will be released on November 16th, 2021. The first season is available to watch on Funimation.

The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby. With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he’s still a total pervert.
