On Thursday, the official website for the newest film in the Sword Art Online Franchise, Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night streamed a brand new trailer. Also highlighted in the trailer was the brand new theme song titled “Yuke” sung by LiSA, the co-writer of the song.
The Trailer goes on to highlight a brand new character, Mito, who is voiced by Inori Minase. Misumi Tozawa is Asuna’s real-life best friend who invites Asuna to play the brand new video game Sword Art Online. Later in the trailer, it shows Misumi as Mito comforting Asuna and protecting her while venturing into this dangerous new virtual world turned Lethal. The film is scheduled to be released in Japan on October 30th, in Standard and IMAX. The movie is based on the Sword Art Online Progressive Light Novel Series by Reki Kawahara that was launched in 2012. The Novel Series is a revised retelling of the original novels of which follows Kirito’s journey through Aincrad Castle, floor by floor.
