Yesterday was one of the biggest days for Anime Series Pick Ups and Return Announcements, first, it was Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda’s Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma Kun getting a third season, and now So-Ma-To’s Shadows House is getting a second season.

The news broke during a special Live-Stream event for the series on Saturday, the second season has been green-lit and a special promotional video was streamed. The creators of the manga series celebrated the news with a special flip-book-style animation, noting that it was said that during the first season (when they supervised the scripts) that there would be only one cours (quarter of the year) for the anime. The creators added that a new season means they would have to supervise scripts once again while still serializing the manga, but vowed to do their best.
