Certainly a big year for Hiro Mashima, Eden Zero recently premiered worldwide on Netflix, now it has been confirmed that Fairy Tail will be coming back once again. During a live-stream event titled “Hiro Mashima Fan Meeting @ Mixalive Tokyo” that was held on Saturday, it was announced that Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda’s Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest would be picking up a Television Anime Adaption. To celebrate the occasion, Ueda drew a illustration to celebrate the big news:
Kodansha Comics publishes the book in English, currently on its Eighth Volume which goes on sale on September 28th. It was originally launched in Kodansha’s Pocket Magazine Manga App in July 2018. Mashima provided the storyboards while Ueda drew the series.
“Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest” – a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy…and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!“
