Uzaki-Chan wants to Hangout’s Second Season Confirmed for 2022, and much more!

That rascal is coming back, four weeks ago it was announced that Uzaki-Chan would have a special program to celebrate the Anime’s First Anniversary, Now fans are getting confirmation that the series will be returning very soon. The Official Website for the anime unveiled that the anime’s second season will air in 2022.

Also, a brand-new sound collection will be released and will ship this fall, it will include over 40 Background Tracks from the anime and two new exclusive songs — “Seishun Swimmers” (Adolescence Swimmers) by the characters Uzaki-chan and Shinichi, and “Enjoy! Cafe Gohan” (“Enjoy! Cafe Meal”) by Ami, Akihiko, and Sakaki; Uzaki-chan’s covers of the full opening and ending theme songs; and the short TV-size version of the theme songs.

The first season is currently streaming exclusively on Funimation, both Sub and Dubbed, it made its debut in Summer 2020. As for the Manga, it was created by Mangaka TAKE and there are currently Six Tankōbon Volumes. It made its debut on Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp portal in 2017 with the seventh volume set to debut in Japan in August. In the U.S. there are currently six volumes from Seven Seas Entertainment, the sixth volume debuting in December 2021.

Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship!
