Today, the Official Twitter Account for Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers Manga Series has released a brand new Celebratory Visual for reaching a new sales milestone. On June 3rd, the manga had sold over 20 million copies printed (physically) and sold (digitally). This was a feat that not an average manga series would accomplish or reach that certain milestone.
Ever since the anime series made its Television Debut, sales have soared, in mid-May, the series had clocked up 14.5 million copies sold and printed. Before that in March, just before the TV anime started, the series had 10 million copies sold and printed, meaning in only three months, the series has sold more than 10 million copies, doubling its copy count in such a small amount of time, which is more than the 2nd highest-selling manga of 2020, Kingdom, according to Crunchyroll’s Daryl Harding. Also, the series is picking up not only a Stage Play in August but a Live-Action Film Adaption too that will be premiering in July. Tokyo Revengers is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which the new arc is also set to premiere in July.
