Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Mugen Train becomes the #2 Anime Film in U.S. Box Office History

It certainly has been an eventful year for Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba The Mugen Train, according to Funimation the Mugen Train has become the Number Two Anime Film in U.S. Box Office History. It finished out Friday with an amazing $43,956,487, the film officially passed Pokémon: The Movie 2000’s record, which had held the #2 spot for almost 21 years. Meanwhile, in Japan, it surpassed Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away, which had held the top spot for 19 years. It even earned over $100 million in the first 10 days in the Japanese box office.
