Tsuburaya Productions partners with Netflix for new CG-Animated Ultraman Film

Tsuburaya Productions announced Thursday that they would be partnering with Netflix for a Brand New CG-Animated Ultraman movie that will feature the directorial debut of Shannon Tindle, best known for his work Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings. Also making his Feature Directorial Debut is John Aoshima, signing on as Co-Director. Tsuburaya Productions had the chance to speak with Shannon Tindle, Takayuki Tsukagoshi (CEO/Chairman Tsuburaya Productions), and Aram Yacoubian, Director of Original Animated Film, Netflix. Speaking of Ultraman films, Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi‘s Shin Ultraman Film Release was delayed due to COVID-19. As for the Television News, Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga is set to air in Japan on July 10th on Ultraman Day.
