Here we are, the premiere teaser trailer for Marvel Studio’s newest film, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings has arrived, ushering in Marvel Studio’s first film with an Asian lead.
Today, Marvel also unveiled a brand new Promotional Visual that shows off Actor Simu Liu in his brand new costume for his role of Shang-Chi. Also, it is the Actor’s Birthday, how amazing is that? Also, Happy Birthday Simu Liu, hope you have a great one!
Shang-Chi is forced to confront his past after he was drawn into the Ten Rings organization. If you’re not familiar with this hero, don’t worry, I’ll catch you up to speed, Shang-Chi was created in December 1973 by writer Steve Englehart and artist Jim Starlin, appearing in Special Marvel Edition #15, he would later get a solo series “The Hands of Shang-Chi: Master of Kung Fu,” that ran until 1983.
In March during Marvel’s announcement regarding their other film called Black Widow, was that it would be premiering both in theaters and be part of Disney Plus Premier Exclusive Line but there is still isn’t any word on if this movie will be following the same path. The cast list includes Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. Additionally, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.
