Hello ladies and gents, I have a special News Round-Up for you all today, this time it’s all about Cells at Work!! Recently it was announced that Cells at Work! Code Black and Cells at Work!! will be premiering on January 9th, 2021 along with a new trailer, promotional visuals, and the bands who will be performing their new opening themes. Without further ado, let’s get this article started!

Cells at Work! Code Black will Premiere on January 9th, debuts new Trailer, and the Musicians to perform the Opening Theme.
In a previous News Round-Up article in April, it was confirmed that Kodansha’s spin-off manga series Cells at Work! Code Black would be getting a new anime, today we not only got this good looking new visual but also another trailer, and the name of the Musicians who would be performing the new theme. Yamasaki Seiya, the Vocalist/Guitarist from the Rock band Kyūso Nekokami will be performing the Opening theme titled “Hashire! (Run!)” And for the ending theme, the rock band POLYSICS is performing the ending theme song “Ue o Mukaite Hakobō with Sekkekkyū/Hakkekkyū” (Look Up and Carry on with Red/White Blood Cells” with lead cast members Junya Enoki and Yōko Hikasa. The anime will air right after the second season of the main Cells at Work! anime for the “Cells at Work! Hour.”

Cells at Work!! Season 2’s 2nd Video Reveals More Staff, Themes by Cast & ClariS, January 9 Debut
Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! manga Social Media posted the second promotional video for the second anime season, Cells at Work!! (with two exclamation points), on Monday. The video reveals and previews the theme songs including the ending “Fight!!” by returning duo ClariS, and it also announces more staff members and the season’s January 9 premiere.
The Cells at Work! Code Black anime has a separate staff and cast from the second anime season of the main Cells at Work!! Manga. Both shows are also debuting in January 9th, 2021.
