Jiro Kuwata, Mangaka and Creator of 8 Man and Batmanga has passed away at 85

It is unfortunate news that Legendary Manga Creator, Jiro Kuwata has passed away; Kuwata is best known for his works such as Batman: The Jiro Kuwata Batmanga and Co-Creator of 8 Man, he teamed up with Science Fiction Writer Kazumasa Hirai, it was considered to be one of the earliest Cyborg Superheroes, predating Shotaro Ishinomori’s Kamen Rider and Cyborg 009.

He was born on April 17th, 1935 in Suita, Osaka. Jiro made his debut in Manga at the age of 13 with The Strange Star Cluster in 1948 for Shonen Gahosha, making it the youngest person to debut in the Company’s History. Jiro Kuwata passed away on July 2nd, 2020; he was 85 Years Old.
