Being a shock to many, The Last of Us 2 has gone from being delayed indefinitely to being released this summer. Sony’s Playstation Blog released a statement from the head of the WorldWide Studio, SIE’s Hermen Hulst. Hulst spoke about the Studio and Sony’s approach to developmental milestones and the recent change in the world due to COVID-19, not only outlining Naughty Dog’s Video Game Release date but Sucker Punch Studio’s Ghost of Tsushima; while thanking both teams at Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch and of course the Playstation Community for their support. The Last of Us 2 is set to debut (with the hope of no further delays) on June 12th, and The Ghost of Tsushima following a month later, July 17th.
