Netflix Tag teams with WWE, The Big Show show to premiere April 6th and The Main Event to premiere on April 10th

As a kid, I and my older brother used to watch WWF (Before the name change to WWE) and always fantasized that we would become wrestlers someday, even though that did eventually change the dream does carry on for every young wrestling fan; Netflix and WWE have teamed up for a new film called The Main Event. About an 11-year-old boy named Leo Thompson (Seth Carr, known for portraying young Killmonger in Marvel’s Black Panther) discovering a Magical Wrestling Mask that grants him Super Strength and Super Speed, with the support of his Grandmother (Tichnia Arnold, known for portraying Pamela James on Fox Sitcom, Martin), he uses it to enter the WWE Competition. Leo will do whatever it takes to achieve his dream of being a WWE Superstar, can he achieve his dream in the face of epic and larger than life challengers in the ring? Below is a trailer that guest stars several familiar faces such as WWE Superstar The Miz.

WWE Studios has another show that is set to premiere on the streaming service, a Family Sitcom called ‘The Big Show show that stars the Giant who is known as The Big Show (Paul Wight), about the legend taking on a challenge that is bigger and tougher, raising three daughters with a wife in Florida.

With both the movie and show prepared to premiere in April, The Main Event set to premiere after Wrestlemania, Wrestling fans and their families can enjoy what the Company has to offer during the Quarantine. Be on the look out for The Big Show show premiering on April 6th and The Main Event on April 10th!
