In 2009, Genndy Tartakovsky unveiled the first footage of Sym-Bionic Titan at San Diego Comic-Con, soon after there were more details revealed at CN’s Upfront. September 2010 was the premiere date for the show; it only lasted for a year, Cartoon Network decided it wouldn’t pursue another season for the show, citing that ‘No Toys were connected to the show.’ In 2012 Toonami began to show reruns of Sym-Bionic Titan until eventually, that ended too. Now, Seven Years later the Sym-Bionic Titan has another chance to shine again, Netflix recently debut the only season of Sym-Bionic Titan on their streaming service.

What is it about?

“The Adventures of three beings from the planet Galaluna who crash-land on Earth while attempting to escape their war-torn world.

Ilana, princess of the royal family; Lance, a rebellious but capable soldier; and Octus, a bio-cybernetic robot, all of whom must now blend into everyday life in Sherman, Illinois. Posing as high school students, Lance and Octus work to conceal Princess Ilana from General Modula and his hideous space mutants sent to kill the sole heir of Galaluna. When called into battle, the Galalunans are outfitted with individual armor that provides more than ample protection.
