Alright boys and girls, looks like the grown-ups have finally reached an agreement on something and they struck a deal for a third Spider-Man Film! You recall the recent standoff between Sony and Disney a month ago; about Twenty minutes ago THR reported that Sony and Marvel will be working on another Spidey film but there are no further details at this time about what is included in the deal but Kevin Fiege, the President of Marvel Studios had this to say about the current situation:
“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it, Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”
