TV Tokyo has confirmed that the ongoing anime series Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will be entering a brand new story arc this October, where Boruto will encounter his father in his Childhood. This will be part of the 20th-anniversary project for Masashi Kishimoto’s original Naruto manga that started serialization in 1999. While there are no other details at this time about the arc but the Naruto in the visual that was provided shows Naruto being around age 12, 13:

Meanwhile, Naruto’s original voice actor, Junko Takeuchi and Boruto Voice Actor Yuko Sanpei had this to say about the New Arc:

“Wow! Child Boruto meets and talks with Child Naruto! Boruto is smart, while Naruto’s unpredictability is No.1. What kind of relationship will the two build? Don’t miss it. ^_^”
