Kevin Smith took the world by surprise by announcing that his new project involved He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!
According to Engadget, Netflix, and Kevin Smith are working on a limited Anime Series that would revolve around unresolved storylines from the 80s series, hinting that it would be the “Final battle between Skeletor and He-Man!” The news was revealed at this year’s Power-Con; celebrating the He-Man and She-Ra Franchises. Mattel will be producing the series, while the studio called Powerhouse will be handling the animation; fans know of Powerhouse’s other work that is based on Konami’s highly successful videogame series Castlevania, Smith, who is serving as the showrunner and executive producer of the Netflix Project promised fans that the show will be “Masters of the Universe story you always wanted to see as a kid.“
