The Summer might be getting hotter, but it looks like it is also getting a lot scarier! Terror and suspense run in the family as Joe Hill, the son of the famous Horror Author Stephen King is joining DC Comics’ Black Label line with introducing the Hill House Comics.

Joe Hill isn’t a stranger to writing Comics, his Eisner Award-winning comic book from IDW Publishing called Locke and Key ran from 2008 to 2013, from then on he wrote novels such as the Heart Shaped Box, Horns, NOSA42 and The Fireman. Now this fall, Joe will oversee the new “Pop-Up Series” this fall and it will consist of five limited series: Basketful of Heads, written by Hill and illustrated by Leomacs; The Dollhouse Family, written by Mike Carey and illustrated by Peter Gross; The Low, Low Woods, written by Carmen Maria Machado and illustrated by Dani; Daphne Byrne, written by Laura Marks and illustrated by Kelley Jones; and Plunge, written by Hill but the artist will be named later.
