The Russo Bros. Developing Magic The Gathering animated series for Netflix

Avengers Endgame Directors to take on Animated Series based off of popular Fantasy Role-Playing Card game.


The long-running Card game is finally getting its own Animated Series, The Russo Brothers; known for their Success on Avengers Endgame will be creating and producing the series on the Streaming Service Netflix. The announcement was made on Netflix’s NX Twitter account:

The series will explore the lives of Planeswalkers, magical beings who drive the mythology of Magic The Gathering, with a new story created by the Russo brothers. Also, here is a statement from the Russo Brothers listed below:

Even though there isn’t a projected premiere date for this new show but with luck maybe there will be more information at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
