The mystical world of Hyrule is leaping from the screen into the toy aisle as Hasbro unveils its new Legend of Zelda action figure line! The collection brings to life three iconic characters: Link, the legendary hero of Hyrule, Princess Zelda, and the menacing Ganondorf.
Hasbro announced a new licensing partnership with Nintendo to create products based on the popular Legend of Zelda franchise. A brand-new multi-year is set to begin in 2027, starting with the first reveals of three 6″ scale figures at San Diego Comic Con (July 23-26, 2026).

The new figure line, titled Heroes of Hyrule, brings iconic characters from the beloved franchise to life. Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro, shared his excitement about the partnership: “For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters and enduring sense of discovery, by combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.”
Collectors familiar with Good Smile Company’s popular Figma line (particularly the Tears of the Kingdom releases) may notice some stylistic similarities in character design and overall game-accurate aesthetic. While Good Smile’s figures lean into premium collector territory with extensive accessories and articulation, Hasbro’s Heroes of Hyrule series offers a more accessible 6-inch scale option aimed at a broader audience of fans.

The Legend of Zelda video game series made its debut in February 1986 on the Famicom Disk System in Japan. It reached North America and Europe the following year in August 1987 on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Since then, the franchise has grown to include more than 20 mainline entries across nearly every major Nintendo console, along with numerous spin-offs. It has also expanded into an American animated TV series in 1989, manga adaptations, books, and a wide range of merchandise. The Legend continues to evolve, with a full remake of the acclaimed Ocarina of Time launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026 and a highly anticipated live-action film adaptation scheduled for theatrical release in 2027.
