Just in time for Ultraman’s 60th Anniversary! Seven Seas announced earlier on Friday that it has licensed Kazuo Umezz’s classic Ultraman manga series, set to launch in July 2027.
Seven Seas Entertainment will release Kazuo Umezz’s classic Ultraman manga in a large-trim hardcover edition titled Ultraman by Kazuo Umezz: The Classic Manga Collection in July 2027. It has been priced at $42.99 USA / $57.99 CAN, pre-order information will be provided on a later date.

Ultraman (ウルトラマン) is a Japanese tokusatsu science fiction television series created by Eiji Tsuburaya and produced by Tsuburaya Productions. A follow-up to Ultra Q—though not technically a sequel or spin-off—it consists of 39 episodes (40 counting the pre-premiere special) that aired on TBS from July 17, 1966, to April 9, 1967. Its massive success spawned a multi-billion-dollar media franchise, recognized as one of the highest-grossing media franchises in the world with an estimated lifetime revenue exceeding $20 billion. It cemented its place as a cornerstone of Japanese tokusatsu and kaiju genres while pioneering the Kyodai Hero subgenre.
