BLUE LOCK live-action movie fans, get ready! Following our previous coverage, the production has revealed five new cast members, highlighted by Ryota Miura stepping into the dual roles of Team W’s Wanima twins (Junichi and Keisuke).
Also joining the cast are Sosho Tomimoto as Team Y’s Ikki Niko, Keisuke Kida as Team Y’s Hibiki Okawa, and Keisuke Higashi as Team X’s Shoei Barou, with Ryota Miura taking on the dual roles of the Wanima twins of Team W.
These new additions bolster an already impressive cast that includes Fumiya Takahashi as protagonist Yoichi Isagi, Kaito Sakurai as Meguru Bachira, Kyōhei Takahashi as Hyoma Chigiri, Kōta Nomura as Rensuke Kunigami, and Masataka Kubota as the mastermind Jinpachi Ego. Additional key cast members include Yuzu Aoki as Gurimu Igarashi, Shō Nishigaki as Asahi Naruhaya, Yūki Tachibana as Gin Gagamaru, Raizō Ishikawa as Jingo Raichi, Joey Iwanaga as Okuhito Iemon, Shunya Asano as Wataru Kuon, Yūki Sakurai as Yudai Imamura, Yūki Kura as Ryosuke Kira, Kōhei Higuchi as Zantetsu Tsurugi, K as Seishiro Nagi, Keito Tsuna as Reo Mikage, and Mei Hata as Anri Teieri.

The live-action Blue Lock movie is directed by Yusuke Taki, with screenplay by Tetsuo Kamata. Producer Shinzō Matsuhashi is overseeing the project, which is being produced by CREDEUS (known for Golden Kamuy) and will be distributed by TOHO.
Blue Lock (ブルーロック), written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018. The ongoing series has released 38 tankōbon volumes as of April 2026, with English print releases from Kodansha USA beginning in 2024 and chapters available on the KMANGA app. The massive popularity of the Blue Lock manga led to a hit anime adaptation (seasons 1-3 streaming on Crunchyroll), the 2024 theatrical film Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, multiple stage plays (including the upcoming Neo Egoist Arc adaptation), mobile games, and collaborations such as with Konami’s eFootball 2024, plus a prologue novel.
