One of the most anticipated TV Anime titles will be heading our way soon. The anime adaption of Kamome Shirahama’s Witch Hat Atelier recently revealed a new promotional video highlighting the series’s new theme song, new characters, and confirming that it will be released on April 6th.
Performing the shows opening theme, “Kaze no Anthem (Anthem of the Wind)” will be Eve and Suis from yorushika, as for the ending theme “Tada Utsukushii no Noroi” (Just a Beautiful Curse) will be Nakamura Hak. As mentioned previously, the show is set to premiere on April 6th at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and other stations, Crunchyroll will stream the anime as it airs. Six new cast members were also announced, Rena Motomura (Maebashi Witches, Betrothed to My Sister’s Ex, Yu-Gi-Oh!: Go Rush!!) as Coco, and Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, DanDaDan, Shangri-La Frontier) as Qifrey were previously confirmed.

Advance Screening Plans (Including North America):

There are plans for an advance screening to take place on Sunday, March 15th at the Shinjuku Piccadilly in Shinjuku Japan. It will be showing the first three episodes, accompanied by a special event featuring Rena Motomura (Coco), Natsuki Hanae (Qifrey), Hibiku Yamamura (Agott), Kurumi Haruki (Tetia), and Hika Tsukishiro (Richeh). There will also be a advance screening for North America as well, information about that event will be provided at a later date. Witch Hat Atelier was first serialized in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine in July 2016 and it is still an ongoing series. Its chapters are collected in 15 tankōbon volumes as of November 2025. Kodansha Comics began releasing the series in English in April 2019, and you can read the latest manga chapters on KManga. Since its debut, it has inspired a spin-off manga titled Witch Hat Atelier Kitchen written by Hiromi Sato, which Kodansha USA announced that they had licensed the manga, the manga was released for English Audiences on October 31st, 2023. And a novel, Witch Hat Atelier: Special Stories written by Jun Esaka.
