There are 15 more days until Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc makes its debut in the United States, and the opening sequence for the film that features Kenshi Yonezu’s song “Iris Out,” arrived on YouTube, two days ago.
Fun fact about Kenshi Yonezu’s new song, in its short time it has broken several records that include: reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200, the highest spot ever for a Japanese song. It also topped the Billboard Japan Hot 100. The film is set to make its debut in the United States on October 24 via Sony Pictures Entertainment and Crunchyroll, It has already brought in more than $44.4 million in international markets including Japan. Speaking of Crunchyroll, the Streaming platform announced that it will be hosting a special Catch-Up Watch Party on October 11 from 10 AM PT on the Crunchyroll YouTube Channel.
Anime News Network recently reported that Crunchyroll will be hosting early screenings of the film on October 22nd in the U.S. for Crunchyroll Fan, Mega Fan, and Ultimate Fan members. Fandango posted a list of participating theaters. Sony and Crunchyroll were already showing the film in the US and Canada several days earlier, on the 24th. There will also be RealD 3D screenings. The film will open in the U.K. on October 29. The movie screened earlier in more than 80 countries on September 24. The film debuted at No. 1, dethroning Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle- Akaza Sairai which reigned supreme at No. 1 for nine weeks straight in Japan, and currently is still sitting at No. 1, despite a 36% week-on-week drop.

Its chapters have been collected in 22 tankōbon volumes as of September 2025. By October 2025, the manga had over 31 million copies in circulation, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The manga won the Best Manga award at The Harvey Awards for three consecutive years. Since the manga’s debut, it has gotten a television anime adaptation, a stage play, a novel adaptation, and a Chainsaw Man Manga Exhibition. Chainsaw Man Season One is available to stream on Disney Plus, Crunchyroll, and other Streaming Platforms.
