The Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: The Mugen Train recently aired on Fuji TV in Japan on Saturday, and it ended with a surprise new trailer for the upcoming Demon Slayer Movie, Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Part One: Akaza Sairai (The Return of Akaza).

Accompanying this new trailer was the new theme music for the film, Aimer is performing the song “Taiyō ga Noboranai Sekai” (“A World Where the Sun Never Rises“), and LiSA is performing the song “Zankoku no Yoru ni Kagayake” (“Shine in the Cruel Night“). Both songs will be available on global streaming platforms on July 18.

According to Anime News Network, Haruo Sotozaki is directing the anime at ufotable, and ufotable is also credited for the screenplay. The first part of Demon Slayer- Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will debut in theaters across Japan on July 18, It has accomplished a new record by playing in 443 screens, including IMAX screenings. Outside Japan, Aniplex aims for the new film to play in over 150 countries and regions, which is wider than the franchise’s previous world tour of over 145 countries and regions. Finally,   Crunchyroll, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Aniplex will screen the first film in theaters, including IMAX and other premium large screen formats, in the United States and Canada on September 12. The film will screen in Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub.

Tanjiro Kamado, determined to restore his demon-turned sister Nezuko to humanity, joins the Demon Slayer Corps. Alongside comrades Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, Tanjiro battles formidable demons, growing stronger and forming unbreakable bonds.

In previous arcs, Tanjiro fought alongside elite Hashira warriors: the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in Mugen Train, the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in Entertainment District, and the Mist and Love Hashira—Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji—in Swordsmith Village.

During the intensive Hashira Training to prepare for the ultimate showdown against the demons, the demon lord Muzan Kibutsuji infiltrates the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, the Ubuyashiki Estate. As the Hashira and Tanjiro rush to protect their leader, they are suddenly cast into a mysterious dimension.
