Things are certainly picking up in Skybound Entertainment’s Transformers Comic Series, Soundwave preparing to finish the war with the Autobots, and Optimus Prime and Wheeljack are still on the search for answers to a mystery that could change everything they ever thought they knew. Speaking of changing things up, the newest variant covers have been released for the upcoming sixteenth issue and it features one from Tank Chair’s Manabu Yashiro.
In a new post from Skybound Entertainment’s Twitter account, they released the new covers for the upcoming sixteenth issue, which included Manabu Yashiro’s variant cover, which featured a showdown between Soundwave and Starscream. Manabu Yashiro shared their excitement on Twitter about their new cover, “I drew the Transformers variant cover! I love Soundwave and Starscream, so this was a very happy job for me. Thank you! 😁“ Transformers Issue No. 16 goes on sale on January 8, 2025.
Tank Chair is a Shonen manga that made its serialized debut on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app in November 2022. Tank Chair would later be serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius in 2021, and is an ongoing series, it has been collected into seven tankobon volumes as of October 2024. Kodansha Comics publishes the manga for English Audiences, and the chapters are simultaneously published and available to read on Kodansha’s KMANGA app.
Living on Gui Cheng Island, called “the most dangerous city in the universe,” is no easy task. Genetic doping is common for gangs to gain ultimate power. Shizuka, a young girl, takes on the most dangerous of assassin jobs, but she’s not the one doing the killing. Rather, it’s her brother, Nagi, a strong assassin who took a bullet to protect his sister, leaving him in a comatose state and having to use a wheelchair. However, Shizuka has figured out the key to waking her brother up: he must be faced with killing intent! Thus begins a violent journey of recovery, battling the most dangerous foes!
