Paru Itagaki, Uoto, and Yuto Yotsuba to Launch New Manga Titles

This year’s 51st Issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion revealed on Thursday that manga creators Yuto Yotsuba (Ya Boy Kongming!) And Paru Itagaki (BEASTARS, SANDA, Drip Drip) will both be launching new manga titles in Weekly Shonen Champion’s first issue of 2025.

Yuto Yotsuba’s new title, Toki no Yusha centers around a hero who travels through time alongside despair and is the world’s only hope. Yotsuba will be writing with Takaaki Satō will be drawing the art. Paru Itagaki, who already has a new horror manga title called Ushimitsu Gao on Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross platform will have a new title called Taika no Risei (Taika’s Reason), which will be a psychological suspense story that focuses on the co-existence between man and animals. Also, another title that will be joining them will be Dr. Muscle Beetle, which will see Uoto (Artist for Chi: On the Movements of the Earth) writing the story, and Furumachi (Hisokani Asare) handling the art.
