Kadokawa announced earlier today that Koyoshi Nakayoshi‘s The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer In Another World is getting an anime adaptation, and will be premiering in January 2025. The company released a key visual, promotional video, cast, and staff list.
Starting with the staff list, Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU/SOTSU) will be directing the anime at SATELIGHT Studio and was also confirmed to be the Sound Director. Atsuhiro Tomioka (Pokémon) will be handling the series composition, and Shuji Maruyama (Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s) will be handling the character designs. Maruyama is also the chief animation director along with Hideaki Onishi and Ayaki Ito. Koichiro Kameyama (Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo) is composing the music. Additional staff is listed below:

The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer In Another World was first serialized in Square Enix’s Shonen Magazine, Monthly Shōnen Gangan since October 2020 and is still an ongoing series consisting of seven tankobon volumes, the newest volume is on sale now (Japan only at this time). Square Enix’s Manga UP! digitally publishes an official English version of the manga, you can also purchase the chapters on Amazon.
Asagaki Togo was the Red Ranger in a heroic Ranger squad. During their final battle against the ultimate evil organization, he suffers a crushing defeat and resigns himself to death… That is, until he finds himself reborn in an entirely different world! Embracing his new role as an adventurer, he transforms into Kizuna Red and continues his pursuit of justice, helping those in need.
