We’re a month away from witnessing a new Rider taking the lead in his show. We have seen glimpses of Kamen Rider Gavv, thanks to several leaks, a press release from Toei, and the newest Summer Film, Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak! But we’re four days away from learning more about the upcoming television series.


Here is what we already know about the upcoming series so far, portraying this Snack-themed hero will be Shoma, portrayed by Hidekazu Chinen (Saitama no hosuto, Kimi ga shinu made ato 100nichi), and the new theme titled Got Boost? By FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE, the henshin gavv belt (including the Gochizo), and a mysterious rider by the name of Kamen Rider Valen. So, during a special sneak peek on Bandai Japan’s Official YouTube channel, it was confirmed a special news conference will be held on August 11 at 10 am JST to reveal more information on the upcoming TV series.

For staff, Teruaki Sugihara (Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger, Kamen Rider Geats, Kamen Rider Revice) will serve as the Director, for producers we have Takehiro Ohkawa (Kamen Rider Gotchard, Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak), and Keisuke Shibataka (Kamen Rider Gotchard, Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak), Naomi Takebe (Kamen Rider Decade, Kamen Rider Amazons, Kamen Rider Zi-O), and Minami Takishima. Gô Sakabe (Date a Live, Kamen Rider Zero-One, Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga) will be the series’ music composer, Hiroshi Butsuda (Kyuukyuu Sentai GoGoFive, Chouriki Sentai Ohranger, Mirai Sentai Timeranger) serving as the Series Special Effects Director, and Satoshi Fujita (Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Kamen Rider Build, Kamen Rider Zero-One) as the Action Director. As always, legendary manga creator, Shotaro Ishinomori has been credited as the Original Creator.

Kamen Rider Gavv is the sixth Kamen Rider in the Reiwa Era, following behind five other heroic riders such as Saber, Zero-One, Revice, Geats, and Gotchard. It is also the thirty-ninth Kamen Rider Series in the franchise, Kamen Rider Gavv will debut on September 1, 2024 on TV Asahi’s Superhero timeblock with Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger at 9:00 am JST.
