My Hero Academia Season Seven Enters Its Second Cour, Revealing New Theme Music

The battle wages on between the heroes and villains, but we’re entering into our Second Cour of My Hero Academia’s Seventh Season. With episode 148 airing in Japan recently, the opening and ending themes have been replaced with new theme music from Yuuri and Zarame.

Replacing “Tagatame” by TK from Ling tosite sigure will be Curtain Call by Yuuri (SK8 the Infinity) as the new opening, and replacing “Tsubomi” by Omoinotake will be Rokutōsei (Class Six Star) by Zarame for the new ending theme. This was Zarame’s first major debut song according to her recent Twitter post. Both songs will be available on streaming on July 19. My Hero Academia made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014 and to this day, it is currently in the final chapters of its iconic run. The series has been collected into 40 tankōbon volumes, it has been confirmed by Shueisha that the 41st tankōbon volume will go on sale on August 2. Viz Media publishes the manga for English audiences and like Shueisha with Manga Plus, Viz Media offers the chapters to read on their app and website. My Hero Academia has inspired an Anime Series adaptation (Available to watch on Crunchyroll), nine OVAs, three manga spin-off titles, three video games, a light novel series, and four anime films (the latest film is set to debut in theaters on August 2 in Japan, and will debut in the US on October 11).
