We’re two months away from an all-out battle with All-Fright (I know it’s Dark Might, but hey, why not have some fun with this), and the action is beginning to heat up in the newest trailer for My Hero Academia The Movie: You’re Next. It also revealed the new theme song artist for the movie.
Performing the theme song titled Homunculus is J-Pop Musician, Vaundy (Ranking of Kings, Chainsaw Man). Weeks ago, two cast members were added to the lineup, Mamoru Miyano as Giulio Gandini, and Meru Nukumi as Anna Scervino, daughter of the Scervino family.

The film will take place in the same time frame as the seventh season, which is streaming now on Crunchyroll. Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, will serve as the general supervisor and original character designer. BONES will be handling the animation production, with Toho Co. Handling the film distribution. Accompanied with the new trailer, the staff and cast were included in the announcement. The film will premiere on August 2nd in Japan.
You can read the latest chapter of My Hero Academia on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump app and Shueisha’s Manga Plus app. The manga is also available in bookstores and on e-retailers.
