Gekijōban Mononoke: Karakasa Gets A New Cast List, Trailer, and Visual

There is big news coming in from Anime News Network and Twin Engine regarding the upcoming film, Gekijōban Mononoke: Karakasa (Paper Umbrella). A new trailer revealed a new cast list and the film’s theme song performed by a former Bish member, Aina The End.

Performing the new theme song titled Love Sick will be Aina The End (18if, The Apothecary Diaries, Sing 2). Accompanying the new trailer was an updated cast list and a new visual.

The film is set to premiere on July 26, it was originally set to debut last year but it was delayed. EOTA and Twin Engine are handling the animation production with Kenji Nakamura returning to direct the Mononoke Film. The anime series premiered in 2007 and consisted of 12 episodes, Mononoke was a spin-off series of Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales. You can watch the Mononoke anime series on Crunchyroll.
